New Patients
First Impressions Dental
Here at First Impressions Dental, our new patient appointments go for about 30 minutes, and our expert dentists will tailor your experience around the primary dental concerns you have. When you arrive at our practice, we will have a few forms for you to fill in – we just require some basic contact information and a medical history. Then one of our dentists will personally greet you and take you back to the clinical area.
Our ultimate goal is to help you feel comfortable and relaxed, so we take the time to get to know you and discuss any specific concerns you may have. However, if you are in a hurry we can also accommodate your busy schedule!
After discussing your requirements, we will perform a thorough exam, followed by a review of our findings and an explanation of any recommendations we have. The second part of the appointment is a scale and clean with one of our dentists, hygienists or oral health therapists.
What to Bring with You
When you come for your first appointment with us, be sure to bring a copy of your dental insurance or health fund card. All the claims you make will be filed through HICAPS, and we can also bulk bill with the Child Dental Benefits Schedule and Veterans’ Affairs. Our flexible payment options create convenient financing for all services.
What if you need treatment?
After our dentist examines your teeth, they will discuss their findings and tell you about any procedures which are needed to correct problems like decay or missing teeth. During your check out, our receptionist will receive information about any recommended treatments and will then arrange your next visit. If multiple procedures are needed, then it is up to you how quickly you want to complete the dental care steps.

Putting Patients First
At First Impressions Dental, it is our policy that each staff member puts their patients first. We work as carefully and considerately as possible, and never pressure patients into treatment they do not want. It is always up to the individual and their family to decide the best options for their dental health. We are open late three nights per week, so contact us today to book your first appointment.
